Thank you for visiting my online portfolio! My name is Meghan Dailey and I am a Salve Regina University graduate, obtaining my BSW in May of 2020 (technically speaking, given the COVID-19 pandemic). The following portfolio outlines some of the work I completed throughout my four years at the university. This work exemplifies how through my education, I have been able to effectively address the core competencies of the social work profession, as outlined by the NASW. In relfecting upon and completing assignments relevant to the competencies, and the behaviors that govern them, I have been able to further my professional development. In doing this reflection, I have also been able to evaluate my strengths and areas in need of improvement within practice. Completing this portfolio also allowed me the unique opporunity to reflect upon and establish my own personal values in line with the NASW Code of Ethics. I hope you enjoy reading the following assignments and experiences, all of which have broadened my social work tool box (the set of kills, methods, and approaches that allow us to provide effective and evidence-based services). I hope they hold the possibility to do so for you too!
In addition to my reflection upon how my work has accurately addressed each of the ten competencies, I have attached a-few relevant certifications, licenses, and trainings. I have not been able to provide a paper copy of all, but those that do not have a paper copy can be found within my resume.
