Your files never pass through or are stored on our servers.

MegaDrop uses the chrome.storage API only on your device to:

This data remains local and is never transmitted externally.

4. Signaling Server 🌐

MegaDrop uses a signaling server (megadrop.onrender.com) only to establish connections between devices.

• The server does not store or log IP addresses
  
  

• The server does not access or store file data
  
  

• It is used strictly for connection setup

We use end-to-end encryption (DTLS/SCTP) to ensure that your data remains private and secure during transfers.
