MeetCue is a Chrome extension that reminds you about upcoming Google Calendar meetings and lets you join them with one click. This policy explains what data MeetCue handles and how it is used.

Data we handle

MeetCue does not have its own servers and does not create an account for you. After you click Connect Google Calendar, MeetCue asks Google for read-only access to upcoming events on your primary calendar.

MeetCue may store the following in your browser:

• Upcoming meeting details, such as title, time, location, attendee names and email addresses, and join links

• A short-lived Google OAuth access token used to read those events

• Your MeetCue settings, connection status, and which reminders were already shown

MeetCue does not collect health information, payment information, web history, or the contents of websites you visit. The on-screen reminder banner is drawn on top of the current page. It does not read that page.

How the data is used

Calendar and authentication data are used only to:

• Show upcoming meetings in the MeetCue popup

• Schedule and show meeting reminders

• Open a meeting join link when you choose to join

MeetCue does not sell user data. It does not use this data for advertising, analytics products, credit decisions, or unrelated purposes. It does not send calendar data to an AI service.

Where data is stored

Meeting details and settings are stored locally in Chrome storage on your device. The OAuth token is stored in Chrome session storage on your device. MeetCue does not upload this data to a MeetCue backend.

Third parties

When you connect, Google signs you in and the Google Calendar API provides event data. Google handles that sign-in and calendar access under Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

MeetCue requests only the calendar.events.readonly scope.

Permissions

MeetCue uses Chrome permissions to:

• identity — connect Google Calendar

• storage — save settings and cached meetings

• alarms — refresh events and fire reminders

• notifications — show desktop meeting reminders

• scripting — show a reminder banner on the active tab when a meeting is due

Your choices

You can disconnect Google Calendar in MeetCue settings. That clears the stored token and cached meetings. Uninstalling MeetCue removes the extension and its local data. You can also revoke MeetCue in your Google Account permissions: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions

Children

MeetCue is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated date at the top of this page will change. Continued use of MeetCue after an update means you accept the revised policy.
