We are 

a research group at the Department of Marine Environmental Engineering, Gyeongsang National University. We aim to develop advanced membrane-based technologies addressing water treatment, air purification, carbon management, resource recovery, and sustainable energy systems. Our research includes 1) membrane fabrication and materials engineering for high-performance liquid, gas, and ion separation, 2) forward osmosis and nanofiltration processes for energy-efficient water reuse and desalination,
3) bioelectrochemical systems for integrated wastewater treatment and energy recovery, 4) membrane-based carbon capture processes for selective CO₂ separation, 5) electrospun nanofiber-based air filtration systems for high-efficiency particulate removal, and 6) lithium recovery technologies based on redox flow battery systems and lithium-selective membranes.
