Medora Bio Reports (“the App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is a mobile application designed to help users understand laboratory reports and health-related documents using artificial intelligence. This Privacy Policy explains how the App accesses, uses, stores, and shares information when you use Medora Bio Reports.
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Important Medical Disclaimer
Medora Bio Reports is not a medical device, does not provide medical diagnosis, and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
The AI-generated information in the App is provided for educational and informational purposes only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding any medical condition, laboratory result, symptom, treatment decision, or health concern.
2. Information We Access or Process
The App may access or process the following information, depending on how you use it:
Laboratory Reports and Health-Related Content
You may choose to upload, scan, photograph, or paste laboratory reports, medical test results, PDFs, images, text files, or related health information. This content may contain sensitive health data, such as biomarkers, test values, reference ranges, dates, and other information included in your report.
Camera and Files
If you choose to scan or upload a report, the App may request access to your device camera, photos, or files. These permissions are used only to allow you to capture or select documents for analysis.
AI Chat Content
If you use the AI Assistant feature, your questions and the relevant report context may be processed to generate answers related to your selected report.
Local App Data
The App may store your analysis history, generated summaries, chat history, preferences, premium status, notification settings, and usage limits locally on your device.
Advertising Data
If you use the free version of the App, advertisements may be shown through Google AdMob. Advertising partners may process device identifiers, approximate location, app activity, ad interaction data, diagnostics, and other data as described in their own policies.
Purchase Information
If you purchase a subscription or premium access, payments are processed by Google Play. We do not collect or store your payment card number, bank details, or full payment credentials.
3. How We Use Information
We use information for the following purposes:
- To analyze laboratory reports and generate AI-powered summaries.
- To identify markers that may need attention based on the information provided.
- To allow you to ask follow-up questions about your own report.
- To save report history and chat history locally on your device.
- To generate PDF exports when requested.
- To manage free usage limits and premium access.
- To display advertisements in the free version.
- To send local notifications, if enabled, such as reminders or report status updates.
- To improve app functionality, reliability, and user experience.
4. AI Processing
Medora Bio Reports uses OpenAI services to process report content and generate AI-based explanations.
When you request an AI analysis or ask a question in the AI Assistant, the report content and your question may be sent securely to OpenAI for processing. We do not operate our own remote server for storing your reports.
AI responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not suitable for your specific medical situation. You should not rely on AI output as medical advice.
5. Local Storage
The App is designed to store your report history, generated analyses, chat history, and related data locally on your device.
This means that your saved reports and chats are generally stored on your device and are not stored by us on our own servers.
If you delete the App, clear app data, or delete reports inside the App, locally stored data may be removed from your device. However, data already processed by third-party providers may be subject to their own retention policies.
6. Sharing of Information
