MEDIQA 2023 Shared Tasks: 

To promote research on automatic clinical note generation from doctor-patient conversations, we propose new challenges & shared tasks: 

MEDIQA-Chat @ ACL-ClinicalNLP, July 2023, Toronto, Canada

•  The MEDIQA-Chat 2023 tasks focus on the automatic generation of clinical notes from doctor-patient conversations (Dialogue2Note Summarization, subtasks A&B) and the generation of synthetic medical conversations from clinical notes (Note2Dialogue Generation).

MEDIQA-Sum @ CLEF, September 2023, Thessaloniki, Greece

• The MEDIQA-Sum 2023 tasks focus on the automatic summarization and classification of doctor-patient encounters to generate clinical notes with three subtasks: Dialogue2Topic Classification, Dialogue2Note Summarization, and Full-Encounter Dialogue2Note Summarization.
