Update: I got the scanner going but every scan resulted in horizontal lines acrross the pics and it randomly caused my pc to freeze....so I gave it away to someone that enjoys spending countless hours debugging these issues! I no longer have the drivers.

I'm wondering if anybody has one of these scanners that works the way it should?

Running Vista ... and yeah, the wizard did find it, but when I tried to run the scanner, the software crashed. So I'm thinking it needs its own drivers, especially to use the negative scanner, which is what I'm really interested in ...

I have the Medion Flatbed Scanner and it was working so well and so easy to use. Recently I lost a Hard Drive

and the driver for the Scanner went with the Hard Drive. It was the Medion Flatbed Scanner MD 90093

I did contact Vuescan. Ed Haurick I believe is the owner of Vuescan and he replied, that he regrets, he did not have one

that was suitable for this model.

Like everyone else I have looked everywhere for the Driver, without any luck.
