We are often expected to know who everyone is

• Try to early on at least know the Heads of Department or which department the crew belong to.

• The cast are a little easier as there is usually less of them

• You'll soon get to know about peoples medical conditions and history

• If you need to interact with cast, high profile members will usually have a PA

Be visible (but stay hidden)

• People need to know you are there, and where you are based

• On larger sets or locations, take a walk around every hour or so

• Stay well away from the Camera line or technical work area, don't go into indoor sets unless your asked
