Each 100g. contains:
- Active ingredients:
• Lignocaine hydrochloride ---- 1 g.
• D- Panthenol -------------------- 5 g.
- Inactive ingredients: Carbapol 940, Glycerin, Isopropyl alc., Propylene glycol, Triethanol amine, Tween 80, lavender oil,
Isopropyl myristate, Water.

- Each 100g. contains:
- Active ingredients:
• Lignocaine hydrochloride ---- 1 g.
• D- Panthenol -------------------- 5 g.
- Inactive ingredients:
cetosteryl acohol, glycerin, tween 80, nipasept, liquid parafin, water.

Gel & Cream.
Pharmacological Action:-
Lignopanthen gel & Cream contain:
- Lignocaine as local anaesthetic for the relief of pain by blocking the conduction of nerve impulses by decreasing the neuronal membrane permeability to sodium ions, this reversibly stabilizes the membrane and inhibit depolarization, resulting in the failure of propagated action potential and subsequent conduction blockade.
- D-Panthenol which promotes healing of the epithelial covering of denuded skin.
Pharmacokinetics:-
Rapid absorption and fast relief.
Indications:-
Lignopanthen gel & Cream rapidly relive pain, itching and enhance healing in cases of:
1- Haemorrhoids and anal fissures.
2- pruritus ani, Pruritus vulvae.
3- Bedsores.
4- Nipple fissures.
5- Minor burns.
6- Itching skin diseases and insect bites.
Dosage and Administration:-
- Apply to the affected area once or twice daily.
- For fissured nipples apply the gel after each feed and clean the area before the time of feed.
Contraindications:-
Known hypersensitivity to local anaesthetics or to D- panthenol.
Side Effects:-
Hypersensitivity reactions are rare.

Package and Storage:-
- Carton box containing a tube of 20g. or 80 g. + pamphlet.
- Store at temp. not exceeding 25°C.
Instructions to Patients:-
- Apply with caution to severly traumatized mucosa and sepsis in the region of application.
- The use of a sterile gauzed pad is suggested when applying the product to broken skin or in burns.
