HD Video & Audio Media Player
HD Video & Audio Media Player
1. Introduction
Welcome to HD Video & Audio Media Player (hereinafter referred to as "the App," "we," "us," or "our"). The App is developed and maintained MEDICAL BILLING PLANET .
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our Android media player application, which is designed to play video and audio files stored locally on your device — including formats such as MKV, MOV, MP4, MP3, and others.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the practices described in this policy.
If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please discontinue use of the App immediately.
The App is a local media player and does not require you to create an account or provide personal information such as your name, email address, or payment details. However, certain non-personal and technical data may be collected automatically through the third-party services integrated into the App.
The App requests the following storage permissions solely to enable its core media playback functionality:
• READ_MEDIA_VIDEO — to detect and read video files on your device (Android 13+)
• READ_MEDIA_AUDIO — to detect and read audio files on your device (Android 13+)
• READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE — to access media files on devices running Android 12 or below
• WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE — limited to Android 9 and below, used only for media management features
• MANAGE_MEDIA — to support media management operations within the App
The App accesses your media files exclusively for local playback purposes. Your media files are never uploaded to any server, shared with third parties, or used for any purpose other than playback within the App.
Through integrated Firebase and Google services, the following non-personal technical data may be collected automatically:
• Device model, manufacturer, and hardware specifications
• Android OS version and build information
• App version name and version code
• Unique device identifiers (e.g., Android Advertising ID / AAID)
• Mobile network operator and connection type (Wi-Fi, mobile data)
• Device language and regional settings
• App session duration, screen views, and in-app events
If the App experiences a crash or an error, Firebase Crashlytics automatically collects:
• Stack traces and error logs related to the crash
• Device state at the time of the crash (memory usage, battery level, orientation)
• App version and build at the time of the crash
• A non-personally-identifiable installation UUID used to count unique affected users
This data is used exclusively to identify, diagnose, and fix bugs to improve App stability.
When you launch the App, Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) may generate a unique registration token associated with your device. This token is used to deliver push notifications to your device. It does not identify you personally and is refreshed periodically by Firebase.
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. In connection with ad delivery, AdMob may collect and use:
• The Android Advertising ID (AAID / Ad ID) — accessible via the AD_ID permission declared in the App
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, ad type rendered)
• Approximate location derived from IP address (not precise GPS location)
• Interest categories inferred by Google for personalized advertising
The App does not collect or use precise GPS location at any point.
We use the information collected for the following specific purposes:
• To scan, organize, and play video and audio files stored on your device. Core Functionality:
• Crash reports and diagnostic data from Firebase Crashlytics are analyzed to detect and resolve technical issues. App Stability & Bug Fixes:
• Firebase Analytics data is used to understand how users interact with the App — such as which features are most used — to inform future improvements. Usage Analytics:
• Firebase Cloud Messaging is used to send you relevant notifications, such as update announcements or feature highlights. You can opt out at any time (see Section 8). Push Notifications:
• Firebase Remote Config allows us to adjust certain App behaviors and feature flags remotely without requiring a full App update. Remote Configuration:
• Google AdMob uses device and advertising identifiers to serve relevant advertisements within the App. This helps support the continued development of a free App. Advertising:
• The Google Play in-app update library (app-update-ktx) is used to prompt you about available App updates for a better user experience. App Updates:
We do not sell your data. We do not use any collected data to build personal profiles, track you across other applications, or make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.
This App integrates multiple Firebase services provided by Google LLC. Below is a transparent explanation of each service and the data it processes:
Firebase Analytics is an app measurement solution that collects usage and behavior data, including events (e.g., app_open, screen_view), session information, device details, and demographic estimates. This data is aggregated and anonymized and is used to understand user behavior and improve the App. Firebase Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months by default.
Firebase Crashlytics is a real-time crash reporting tool. When the App crashes or encounters a non-fatal error, Crashlytics automatically sends a crash report containing technical diagnostic information (stack trace, device state, and app version) to Firebase servers. No personally identifiable information is included in crash reports. This service is essential for maintaining App quality and stability.
Firebase Cloud Messaging enables the App to receive push notifications from our servers. FCM generates a device registration token that is used solely to deliver notifications. This token does not contain personal information. You may disable push notifications at any time through your device settings (see Section 8).
Firebase Remote Config allows us to change the App's behavior and appearance remotely without publishing an App update. For example, we may use Remote Config to enable or disable features, adjust UI settings, or roll out changes gradually. Remote Config does not collect personal information. It may log configuration fetch events as part of Firebase Analytics.
All Firebase services are governed by Google's Privacy Policy. For details, please visit:

The App uses Google AdMob (provided by Google LLC) to serve advertisements. Advertising revenue allows us to offer the App free of charge. This section explains how advertising works in the App.
AdMob may display the following types of advertisements within the App:
• Banner Ads — displayed within the App interface
• Interstitial Ads — full-screen ads displayed at natural transition points
• Rewarded Ads — optional ads you can choose to watch in exchange for in-app benefits
By default, AdMob may serve personalized advertisements based on your interests, inferred from your past interactions with apps and websites. Personalized ads use the Android Advertising ID (AAID) to build an interest profile.
If you prefer not to see personalized ads, you can opt out by following the steps in Section 8 below. If you opt out, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized (contextual only) and not based on your interest profile.
The App declares the com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID permission in its manifest. This is required by Google Play policy for apps targeting Android 13+ that use advertising identifiers. This permission allows AdMob to read your device's Advertising ID for the purpose of serving and measuring ads.
Please refer to Section 9 (Children's Privacy) for important information about our advertising practices with respect to children.

We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties for their own marketing purposes. Data collected through the App may be shared in the following limited circumstances:
We share data with the following trusted third-party service providers, solely as necessary to operate the App:
• Google LLC (Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Firebase Remote Config, Google AdMob) — for app analytics, crash reporting, push notifications, remote configuration, and advertising.
• Google Play Core (in-app updates) — for delivering App update prompts.
These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually bound to use it only for the purposes we specify, in compliance with applicable law and their own privacy policies.
We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency), or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
We never share:
• Your media files or their contents
• Your contacts, messages, or communications
• Your precise GPS location
• Any sensitive personal information
We retain data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, or as required by applicable law.
• Firebase Analytics data: Retained for up to 14 months as configured in Firebase, after which it is automatically deleted.

For data held by Google (Firebase, AdMob), you may also submit data deletion requests directly through Google's data controls at myaccount.google.com.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, you have the right to: access your personal data; request rectification or erasure; object to or restrict processing; and data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion of personal information, and to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact us at the address provided in Section 13.
This App is not specifically directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If the App is listed on Google Play under a General Audience or Family category, the following disclosures apply:
• The App may be used by children, but no features are designed to collect personal information from children.
• Advertising served through Google AdMob within the App is configured in accordance with Google's Families Policy and applicable child protection laws (COPPA, GDPR-K).
• If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us immediately at the address in Section 13, and we will take steps to delete such information.
If you are a developer publishing this App in a Designed for Families (DFF) program or targeting children explicitly, you must ensure that AdMob is configured to serve child-directed ads only (using tag_for_child_directed_treatment=true in your AdMob configuration), and you should review the Google Play Families Policy at:
