so the problem with your .m4a is that it is actually a video file. it is a motian jpeg to be exact. since it has a video codec in the m4a container it will not play on the fuze+. Here is the file info below. notice there is a video codec included in the container. you will need to strip that from the file before it will work on the fuze+.

So you can select MP3, AAC, M4A, WAV, or FLAC as the output format. In each column of the audio track, there is an "editing" icon at the end. Click that icon and you'll be prompted to select the output audio formats in a new window. There you can also set the audio codec, channel, bit rate, etc. according to your own needs.
