MediaKeep ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our Android application.

2.1 Information You Provide
- Files you choose to save or organize within the app
- PIN codes for vault protection (stored locally on your device only, never transmitted)
- App preferences and settings
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- AdMob Advertising ID (used for displaying relevant ads)
- Crash reports and app performance data (anonymous, via Google Play Services)
2.3 Clipboard Access
The Floating Download Bubble feature reads your clipboard ONLY when the feature is enabled by you. This is used solely to detect media URLs you have copied. We do not store, transmit, or share any clipboard content.
3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
- To provide core app functionality (saving and organizing media)
- To display relevant advertisements via Google AdMob
- To improve app performance and fix bugs
- We do NOT sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes
4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
4.1 Google AdMob

4.3 Google Play Services
Standard Google Play Services are used for app delivery and updates.
5. DATA STORAGE & SECURITY
- All media files are stored locally on your device
- Vault files are stored in the app's private directory, inaccessible to other apps
- PIN codes are stored using Android SharedPreferences with app-private access only
- No user data is uploaded to our servers
6. PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED
- INTERNET: Required for downloading media and displaying ads
- SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW: Required for the Floating Download Bubble feature only (can be disabled in Settings)
- CAMERA: Required for the MediaKeep Lens scan feature only
- USE_BIOMETRIC: Required for fingerprint vault unlock
- READ_MEDIA_IMAGES/VIDEO: Required to read WhatsApp statuses on your device
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Required to show download progress notifications
- FOREGROUND_SERVICE: Required to continue downloads in the background
7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
MediaKeep is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. YOUR RIGHTS
You may:
- Delete all app data by uninstalling the app
- Disable ad personalization in your Android settings
- Disable Floating Bubble feature in app Settings
9. COPYRIGHT NOTICE
MediaKeep is designed for saving media that has been shared with you and that you have the right to save. Users are responsible for ensuring they have permission to save any content. We do not support or condone copyright infringement.

1. ACCEPTANCE

- Do not use MediaKeep to infringe on others' copyrights
- Do not use the app to download content without permission

MediaKeep is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not responsible for content saved by users or any copyright disputes arising from user actions.
5. YOUTUBE POLICY COMPLIANCE
MediaKeep explicitly blocks downloading of YouTube content in compliance with YouTube's Terms of Service.
