MEDICAL IMAGING MEETS EURIPS
An official EurIPS Workshop - 06/07 December 2025
An official EurIPS Workshop - 06/07 December 2025
Medical imaging and radiology are facing major challenges, driven by the growing complexity and volume of data, alongside immense economic pressures. Advances and widespread use of imaging technologies have now overloaded/exceeded the human capacity to interpret medical images, raising the risk of missing critical patterns of diseases. Machine learning has emerged as a key technology for developing novel tools in computer-aided diagnosis, therapy, and intervention. Compared to other fields of visual recognition, progress has remained slow largely due to the complexity and constraints in the medical domain, i.e., robustness, high accuracy, and reliability in clinical practice.
“Medical Imaging meets EurIPS (MedEurIPS)” aims to bring together researchers from the medical imaging and ML communities to discuss key challenges, research opportunities, and novel applications. Continuing on the success of the 2017 - 2023 MedNeurIPS workshops, this year’s edition/workshop will feature invited speakers from academia, medical sciences, and industry, providing insights into recent technological advances and remaining significant hurdles.
MedEurIPS will be held on December XX 2025 in Copenhagen as part of EurIPS, a community-driven conference that makes world-class AI research accessible to Europe by showcasing papers accepted at NeurIPS.
