Crossing the Proclamation Line

What actually happened?: Many Americans felt that the Proclamation was so unfair that they simply ignored it. The most famous was an explorer and settler named Daniel Boone who took a large band of settlers and founded "Kentucky." The Proclamation of 1763 was one of the first acts of the British Government that led Americans to begin questioning whether the government was looking out for their liberties.
