B.P. Minaev is known by his theory of molecular oxygen spectra and bio-activation in oxidases and oxygenasis. He explained a number of specific effects of spin-orbit coupling (SOC) in phosphorescence, molecular electronics, EPR, ODMR, catalysis, chemiluminescence and ozone depletion photochemistry .
