Mechanics of Solids and Structures
Spring 2019
Spring 2019
This course provides an introduction to the subject of engineering mechanics. The primary goal is to give you a capability to create and use simple mathematical models to predict the deformation behavior of solids subjected to forces and moments. Using these simple models you will develop engineering intuition helping you to predict physical behavior. You’ll end up with a set of tools that can be used in the design and analysis of mechanical and structural components.
