Saved Data: We may store the codes or VINs you explicitly save or bookmark within the App using local storage on your device.

Device Information: We may collect certain information about your device automatically, including your device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers (for diagnostic and crash reporting purposes).

Usage Data: We may collect anonymous information about how you use the App, such as which features you access most frequently.

To provide specific features, we may request access to certain device permissions:

Camera/Photos: Required if you choose to scan VIN barcodes or upload images for analysis.

Internet: Required to fetch the latest diagnostic data and VIN details from our servers.

Decode VINs and provide accurate Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) descriptions.

Local Storage: Most personal data (such as your saved history of VINs and codes) is stored locally on your device. You can delete this data at any time by clearing the App’s storage or uninstalling the App.

Security Measures: We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

We may use third-party services to facilitate our App’s operations:

Google Play Services / Apple App Store: For app distribution and crash reporting.

Networking Libraries: We use standard networking libraries to communicate with our data servers.

These third parties have their own privacy policies addressing how they use such information.

Our App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
