Mechanical Systems 2: Design Project

Welcome! This webpage is brief overview of the project that was completed by our team during the Spring 2020 semester in the class mechanical systems 2.

The design goal of this project was to design and build a modular device to pick up 5 lb hand weights from a set location and place them in a holding area 30 cm away from the set location. The weights had to be raised and carried above the surface while in motion. The holding area consisted of a barrier 50 mm high. Due to COVID-19 this project was completed in Creo 5.0 as a simulation instead of physically.
