This ongoing series follows the titular protagonist Gene, a belligerent truck driver from a dystopian city. He must travel through a dangerous and vast expanse known as The Wilderness to bring his cargo to its destination. Only the strong can survive in The Wilderness, as many dangers - including strange and magical people who wear turtle shells - lurk within. Can Gene survive?  If he does, will he ever be the same?
