Create an authentic audience + learning experience as often as possible for students by bringing in "experts" via Google Meet/Zoom, blogs, and or Twitter Chats.
Base School Visits to conference 1-1 with students as needed
Student Profile Cards - connecting and getting to know your students strengths and areas for growth
Recording contacts in SIS + LMS
Parent communication w/ various platforms like Seesaw, Google Voice, Class DoJo, Remind, ect.
"Positive Parent Contacts" - Teachers contact parents with a positive shout-out for their child, at least 3 times per semester.
Teachers send student and parent a farewell postcard at the end of each course.
Create an ongoing community for parents and students to connect outside of the virtual learning environment via social media, community groups + meet-ups.
