I am currently a Ph.D. student at Department of Physics, IIT Bombay in the field Quantum Information Theory. I am working with Prof. Siddhartha Santra in the Entanglement Enhanced Technology group. My research is focussed on design and applications of large-scale quantum networks. Such networks require long-range entangled quantum states between receiver and transmitter nodes which act as a private channel for quantum communication. The central challenge is to design entanglement distribution protocols that mitigate decoherence due to environmental noise. Towards this goal, I use techniques from entanglement theory, graphs and networking theory.
