I am Md. Safiul Islam, a dedicated student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Pabna University of Science and Technology, currently in my seventh semester. My primary research focus is in photonics, specifically the design and application of hollow-core photonic crystal fiber (PCF) sensors in the terahertz frequency range. I have authored several publications on high-performance terahertz detection methods for NaCN and KCN, cervical cancer cell detection, petroleum sensing, breast cancer cell detection and illegal drug detection. These projects aim to enhance the sensitivity and specificity of PCF-based sensors, contributing to advancements in environmental monitoring and healthcare diagnostics.
In addition to photonics, I am passionate about Artificial Intelligence and its potential to revolutionize sensor technologies and healthcare applications. I believe that integrating AI with advanced sensing techniques can lead to significant breakthroughs in data analysis and decision-making. Looking to the future, I aspire to build a successful career in research, focusing on innovative sensor technologies that address real-world challenges. My goal is to contribute to the development of advanced sensing solutions that can improve healthcare outcomes and environmental safety. I am committed to continuous learning and collaboration within the scientific community to make meaningful contributions to my field.
