Hi! I'm María Isabel

I have a degree BA (Hons) in Design for Stage and Screen at Nottingham Trent University. More specifically, Costume Design and Construction, which I graduated with 1st class with honours.

I have always loved the fact that through costume you can become whomever you want to be, from a fantasy movie queen to a walking-talking art piece. As a very extravagant person, my designs know no limit. I love creating bold statement pieces, aspiring for dramatic designs that are wearable pieces of art.

In 2022, I worked with El Teatro de la Maestranza to bring to the stage the opera La Traviata and in 2023 I worked at the Sodheim Theatre during a cast change for Les Miserables.
