Overview

The dress is made primarily of golden fabrics to represent the light and the sun, using the floral embroidery on the tulle to represent bay leaves as it is one of the symbols of Apollo. 

The floral ornaments on the belt surround the painting as it if was a frame, creating a shape that alludes to a lire at the centre front (another symbol of Apollo). The picture is a vinyl print to create a glossy effect and make it look more like a varnished painting.
