I’m Md Nurunnabi Sohel, a passionate mathematician and dedicated educator from Gazipur, Bangladesh. I hold both a BSc and MSc in Applied Mathematics from the University of Dhaka, where I secured the second position in both programs. Currently, I’m serving as an assistant professor at Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology, with over three years of teaching experience. My research interests lie in computational methods, particularly the Lattice Boltzmann Method (LBM), and I’ve published journal articles in this field. I’m also deeply committed to guiding students, organizing math Olympiads, and sharing knowledge beyond the classroom. Outside academics, I’m a football enthusiast who enjoys playing with friends and exploring local food spots. As a practicing Muslim, my faith plays a central role in shaping my values and lifestyle. I aim to pursue a PhD to further expand my academic and research horizons in applied science and engineering. With a blend of discipline, curiosity, and a growth mindset, I strive to make a meaningful impact both in academia and in society.
