Dr. Uddin is a full-time IT Lecturer at Crown Institute of Higher Education. In 2025, he was awarded the Teaching Excellence Award by CIHE Australia in recognition of his outstanding contribution to teaching and student engagement.

Prior to his current role, he served as an Associate Research Fellow at Deakin University from January 2023 to December 2023 and Associate Professor at Jagannath Universtiy, Dhaka. He completed his BSc (Honours) and MS degrees in Computer Science and Engineering at University of Dhaka, and later earned his PhD from the Internet Commerce Security Laboratory at Federation University Australia.

His doctoral research proposed a Patient-Centric Agent framework integrating Blockchain technology with Internet of Things-based patient monitoring systems. The framework enables secure, scalable, and efficient data streaming across multiple blockchain networks for enhanced privacy and interoperability in healthcare environments.

Dr. Uddin has been recognised among the Top 2% Scientists worldwide in 2024 and 2025, based on the list jointly compiled by Stanford University and Elsevier.
