I am a Post-doctoral Research Associate in the Department of Systems and Information Engineering at the University of Virginia. My research involves Graph Signal Processing (GSP) and Graph Neural Network (GNN)-based techniques for energy system applications. I have completed my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida in 2023 focusing on GSP and energy data analytics for the security and reliability of smart grids. My Ph.D. research includes the detection and location identification of stresses and anomalies in the electric grid and their characterization and classification using different GSP-based techniques by modeling the power system data as time-varying graph signals. Recovery of missing states in the power system and optimum placement strategy of measurement devices in the grid were also part of my Ph.D. work.
