What is the Timeline?

This timeline, specifically the MARVELxCD MCU timeline, is a curated and constantly updated set of lists that guide you through that complicated network of inter-connected films and series. It can be for an MCU veteran re-exploring the timeline, or for the friend being introduced to the vast universe for the first time.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe(MCU) timeline houses all MCU films, shows, and shorts. With new multiversal complications, and more rapidly releasing content, it has become harder to keep track of than ever before. Iron Man was the first movie to release, but on the timeline and chronologically, Captain America should be watched first. This site saves you the effort of doing the research yourself! With new projects being released constantly now, and some taking place before previously-released items, this site stays updated with the newest info. These chronological timelines are the order in which the projects actually take place in the Marvel Universe, which is the best order to watch them in.

On the First Timer page, simply scroll through our variety of timeline styles, and click on any of them to view! The Complete Timeline has every Marvel project strung out in Chronological order, wheras a timeline like Bare Necessity only includes the films necessary to catch up your understanding of the MCU for any new releases. Bookmark this site to easily come back each time you're ready to watch! Remember that streaming services like Disney+ have their own timelines built in, but they do not contain everything. This site does.

On each timeline, you can click on the poster for any movie/series to watch that project on the best streaming platform available! Unlike those platforms, this site contains all the Marvel content, without the barriers that come on those platforms. Disney+ contains most content, but projects like Spider-Man are on others, so this website is your golden ticket! This site also gives you a heads-up on any end-credit scenes so you aren't stuck guessing. Watch-times, spoiler warnings, box office numbers, and release dates add to the experience!
