Teen Summer Reading is Hosted by the Manchester City Library in Manchester, New Hampshire.

The Teen Summer Reading program is designed for kids/teens ages 10-18 to encourage lifelong reading habits. Earn points for reading, writing book reviews, and participating in library events. All points earned count towards our summer raffles for various prizes including Steam and Visa gift cards. There will be a few random raffles as well for everyone who has signed up.
Register online through the READsquared website or app.
Connect
Use the READsquared app to write reviews and share them with other readers, or look for recommendations on what to read next. Each review you post earns you points, the more points you get, the more prizes you are automatically entered to win!
And sign up for our Discord server! We will use Discord to create a community through chatting, sharing, and hanging out. Our server is monitored by library staff and follows the same rules as in the physical library. Manchester kids/teens ages 10-18 are welcome to apply. After the application has been approved, we'll send out an invitation to the server. Apply here.
Create
Teen/tween take-home craft kits will be available starting June 29th! There will be a different craft once a month. Look for them in the Young Adult section at Main and West libraries, or the Children's Room entrance of the Main Library.

Everyone who attends will be given the secret code word to enter into ReadSquared to earn additional points!

July 13th - Sand Art @ 3 p.m., Winchell Room, Main Library (100 pts)
July 27th - Mini Art Painting @ 3 p.m., Winchell Room, Main Library (100 pts)
August 3rd -- Online Gaming Tournament @ 3 p.m., Winchell Room & online via Discord (100 pts)
August 10th -- Owl Pellet Dissection @ 3 p.m., Winchell Room, Main Library (100 pts)
August 13th - Climbing Wall, outdoors, Main Library
Join In
Every Wednesday afternoon @ 3 p.m. is "Zensday" in the Main Library's "WinCHILL Room" with low-stress arts and crafts, movies, snacks, and air conditioning.
