At McKallen Medical Training, our instructors educate and prepare individuals to become healthcare professionals committed to lifelong learning, civility, and service to enhance the health and wellness of diverse communities.

McKallen Medical is committed to promoting career mobility by providing several program options to both traditional and non-traditional learners. We offer classes for Medical & Non-medical professionals. Our courses have been approved by the American Heart Association, California Department of Public Health, Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education, and the National Healthcareer Association.

Certification Classes: Now Enrolling

Our classes are taught by credentialed NURSE instructors with over 15 years of healthcare experience. We offer NURSE-led Certified Nursing Assistant classes ONLINE and at our location in Rancho Cucamonga, Ca. At the end of this program, you will be ready to obtain an entry-level job in various healthcare settings and you will have the necessary qualifications to take the state exam.

CNA & Home Health Aide


Students will learn the essential skills required to fulfill the responsibilities that comprise the full spectrum of patient care, including gathering vital medical information, maintaining a safe, clean environment, assisting patients with daily activities, and communicating vital health information about a patient’s condition to supervising RNs and LPNs and other medical staff. This program will prepare the student for certification by the State of California as an entry-level healthcare worker.

Tuition: $1700 Classroom or $1650 Online

THE BLS CPR CLASS COVERS:

  • Adult, Child, and Infant CPR.

  • Conscious and Unconscious Choking for victims of all ages.

  • Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use and special considerations.

  • Breathing Barriers, Bag Valve Masks, and 2 Rescuer CPR.

  • Cardiopulmonary Emergencies and Special Resuscitation Situations.

Class Running Time: Approximately 1.5 Hours

EKG Technician Certification


This 68-hour training program offered at McKallen Medical Training is delivered as a hybrid program that combines online lectures and optional hands-on labs. Students enrolled in the hybrid course will have the opportunity to participate in optional online lectures with an instructor in real-time. Classes will meet 3 days a week for a total of 4 weeks

Cost: $1400 (CPR/ BLS certification and Textbook included)

WIOA Tuition Assistance


Our exclusive partnerships with federally funded WIOA partners provide Universal Workforce Development Training to all students.

Displaced or disadvantaged workers may be eligible for financial assistance through the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) to enroll in approved McKallen Medical Training Programs. For students who qualify through their local California Employment Development Department office, the funds may be applied toward the cost of tuition and fees, required books, and materials for the programs. Out-of-pocket expenses, if any, are determined on a case-by-case basis.

If you are interested in attending McKallen Medical training using this funding, you must contact your local WIOA (LWIA) One Stop Center in your area to determine your eligibility and receive authorization to attend.
