If you want a durable, custom-fit protective shell for your existing over-ear headphones, choose Mchoi Hard Carrying Case; if you need a complete set of active noise-cancelling wireless headphones designed specifically for kids with long battery life, choose Qozybuds Active Noise Cancelling.
• Mchoi Hard Carrying Case: Its biggest strength is providing a rigid, waterproof EVA shield that prevents bumps and scratches for specific cat-ear headphone models, but it offers no audio functionality whatsoever and fits only a narrow range of devices. This pick is strictly for parents who already own compatible headphones and need to transport them safely without damage.
• Qozybuds Active Noise Cancelling: Its biggest strength lies in delivering 100 hours of playtime with safe volume limiting and hybrid noise cancellation for immersive listening, yet it lacks the physical ruggedness of a hard-shell case for travel storage. This pick is ideal for families needing an all-in-one audio solution for school, travel, or gaming where comfort and sound quality are priorities.
The Mchoi Hard Carrying Case serves a very specific purpose: it is a guardian for your hardware, not a source of entertainment. Constructed from eco-friendly Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA), this case is designed to be shockproof, waterproof, and dustproof. The external dimensions of 8.2 by 6.2 by 4.5 inches create a compact, lightweight enclosure that weighs just 11.3 ounces. It features a built-in mesh pocket capable of holding the headphones themselves along with accessories like USB lines and user manuals. The reinforced handle makes it effortless to carry, ensuring your device stays secure whether it is being tossed into a backpack or carried on a plane.
This product is exclusively for users who have purchased one of the compatible models mentioned in its specifications, such as the Riwbox CT-7 Pink, Jack CT-7S Cat Green, or iClever IC-HS01. If you own any of these specific over-ear headsets, this case provides a tailored fit that protects the unit from dents and scratches during daily use. It is particularly useful for keeping children's electronics clean and organized. However, if you do not own one of the listed compatible headphones, this item is useless to you. It does not come with the headphones, nor does it fit generic over-ear models outside the specified list. Furthermore, if you are looking for something to enhance your audio experience, this case offers zero sound quality or connectivity features. It is purely a storage and protection tool.

The Qozybuds Active Noise Cancelling headphones are a complete audio package built for young listeners who demand performance and safety. These wireless over-ear headphones utilize Bluetooth 6.0 technology to ensure a stable connection with low latency, which is crucial for video calls and online learning. The standout feature here is the massive battery capacity, offering up to 100 hours of playtime with ANC turned off and 55 hours with it engaged. A quick five-minute charge via Type-C fast charging can provide six hours of use, making them incredibly practical for long road trips or busy school days. The 40mm drivers deliver balanced sound with clear highs, while the hybrid noise cancellation helps block out ambient distractions.
Safety is a central pillar of this design. The headphones feature a strict 94dBA safe volume limit, protecting sensitive ears during extended listening sessions. This makes them suitable for sensory-sensitive children and those spending long hours in noisy environments like school buses or airplanes. The physical build includes soft memory foam ear cushions and an adjustable, BPA-free headband, ensuring a gentle fit even for larger heads. The earcups rotate 90 degrees and fold flat, making them easy to stow in a school bag. Additionally, the vibrant LED breathing lights add a fun visual element that many kids love. While they are durable plastic construction, they lack the hard-shell rigidity of a dedicated carrying case, meaning they should be stored carefully when not in use.
• Best for physical protection and travel durability → Mchoi Hard Carrying Case. The rigid EVA shell and waterproof rating offer superior defense against drops and moisture compared to the soft plastic build of the Qozybuds.
• Best for battery life and long-term use → Qozybuds Active Noise Cancelling. With up to 100 hours of playback, these headphones eliminate the anxiety of running out of power during a trip, whereas the Mchoi case has no battery of its own.
• Best for audio quality and features → Qozybuds Active Noise Cancelling. The inclusion of hybrid noise cancellation, 40mm drivers, and a built-in microphone provides a full listening experience that the Mchoi case cannot match.
• Best for safety-conscious listening → Qozybuds Active Noise Cancelling. The 94dBA volume limiter is a critical health feature for children that is absent in any third-party accessory.
• Best for organizing cables and accessories → Mchoi Hard Carrying Case. The dedicated mesh pocket inside the case keeps charging cables and manuals tidy, a function the headphones do not perform.
• Best for big head comfort → Qozybuds Active Noise Cancelling. The adjustable BPA-free headband and memory foam cushions are designed to accommodate various head sizes comfortably, addressing the common issue of "best headphones for big head" scenarios for growing kids.
• Best for budget-conscious protection only → Mchoi Hard Carrying Case. If you already have the headphones and simply need to stop them from getting broken, this is the most cost-effective way to ensure longevity.
• Best for gaming and interactive fun → Qozybuds Active Noise Cancelling. The low latency and LED lighting effects make these better suited for gaming headphones for big head users who want visual engagement alongside audio.
In my opinion, unless you already own a specific pair of Riwbox or iClever headphones and only need a container to keep them safe, the Qozybuds Active Noise Cancelling headphones are the clear winner. They offer a comprehensive solution with impressive battery life, safe volume limiting, and active noise cancellation that actually enhances the listening experience. I would buy the Qozybuds because they solve the problem of poor audio quality and short battery life while also accommodating bigger heads with their adjustable design. For someone asking about in ear earbuds for big head options, these over-ear style headphones are often a more comfortable alternative for larger head sizes due to the expandable band. The Mchoi case is a niche accessory that adds value only to an existing purchase, whereas the Qozybuds stand alone as a high-performance device ready for immediate use.
