For the past 9 years, the MCC Red Mountain campus has hosted a Halloween Extravaganza event for our local community, which is always the highlight of our fall semester. Because of the huge crowd this event draws, and based on recommendations from the CDC about avoiding large gatherings, we will not be holding our event this year in an effort to ensure the continued safety of our community. We will miss seeing all of the creative costumes and the smiles this year, but we hope to be back for more Halloween fun in 2021!

In an effort to keep the Halloween spirit alive, we have collected a variety of activities for you and your family to try this month--from crafts and projects, to recipes, games, movies, & virtual tours--you can have safe family Halloween fun at home! Thanks to all of you who have supported the MCC Red Mountain Halloween Extravaganza for the past 9 years. The event is so special to our campus and community, and we are disappointed in the circumstances that forced us to cancel this year. We plan to be back better than ever in 2021 to celebrate our 10th anniversary. Happy Halloween to all!

If you do any of these projects and want to share, please send to Erica Horihan (ehorihan@mesacc.edu) or tag us on social media (Facebook: MCC Red Mountain, Instagram: MCCRedMtn). We'd love to share your work!
