堂慶報告及代禱事項 (2022-10-02)

• 我們將在週五晚上 7:30 舉行感恩分享禱告會。我們將邀請不同年代的弟兄姊妹和牧者，重述我們的主所賜予MCAC的祝福。然後，我們將一起和分小組祈禱。

• 週六下午 1 時至 4 時，將在教堂舉行嘉年華會和開放日。下午 1 時，我們將有簡短的 MCAC 介紹，並邀請Town of Hampstead總幹事致詞。如果天氣允許，將有室外玩遊戲和小點供應。希望能接觸我們的社區和我們的下一代，讓他們認識我們的教會，我們的信仰。請邀請新朋友、兒童參加，或來鼓勵並支持為這嘉年華作籌備和安排的年輕人。讓我們建立橋樑，將好消息帶入社區。願滿宣作城市福音的燈台！

• 我們於星期日下午 2 時在 Plaza Centre-Ville 舉行聯合主日崇拜。在教會不會有崇拜。如無法親身參加，可以實時在 YouTube 收看。 不僅粵、英、國語堂一起敬拜，有姐妹堂也一起參加。 無論您有否報名參加感恩愛宴，主日崇拜和茶點開放給大家參加。 感恩愛宴於下午 6 時開始。

• 目的/使命

週末將會有很多陌生的面孔：來自中、英、國語堂的弟兄姐妹，來自其他教會的弟兄姐妹、老朋友、外地朋友、新朋友。 這是一個與他人和上帝重新建立關係的好機會，可以在主裡團契，甚至傳福音。 願意我們作上帝的使者關心他人，作一個好的見證。 跟別人說 “你好”！ 慶祝活動是否有意義取決於我們。 主若願意，讓這些活動對您和他人都有意義。 在經歷了 30 多個月新冠病毒，我們盼望這個週末能夠成為一個新動力，讓我們重新建立面對面的敬拜和團契生活。

• 關於新冠疫情

我們都知道 COVID 仍然存在。 組織如此大型的聚會仍存在一些風險。以下是我們希望採取的預防措施：

由於我們的年齡和健康狀況各不相同，所以在室內除進食外需要戴口罩。

如果您在參加實體活動前懷疑自己是否感染了新冠病毒，請進行必要的檢測並自行決定參加與否，就像您前往探望家人一樣。

如果您因 COVID 或疑似 COVID 而缺席，會場將不會退還費用，但教會可作特別安排退還費用。

• 週日場地安排

週日場地可乘坐地鐵抵達Square Victoria OACI。 對面大樓 (Cité Internationale) 室內停車場一日 10 元。請查看小冊子或網站 montreal-cac.org 了解具體資料。

抵達後，崇拜場地位於樓下C層的Regence室。 有樓梯，自動扶梯和電梯可以通到下層。崇拜在下午 2 時開始。 由於地點陌生，請預留足夠時間到達。

有孩子的父母：如果孩子安靜，歡迎一同參加主日崇拜。 教會亦定排一個特定房間Cartier，為 5-12 歲及以上的小孩提供監管。

• 代禱記念

祈求關係的復和與靈命的復興； 感謝神過去50年的祝福； 祈求神未來 50 年的指引。 求神的臨在，使用教會禧年、教會和每一位弟兄姊妹，成為和平的工具。

祈求神保守各人的平安，為遠行和本地的弟兄姊妹路途出入，疫情，身體狀況，聚會安排和進行，求主一一保護與看顧。

“願榮耀歸於祂，在教會和基督耶穌裡世世代代，直到永遠！”

Anniversary announcement and prayer items (2022-10-02)

On the weekend

We will have a thanksgiving sharing and prayer meeting on Friday 7:30pm. We will invite brothers, sisters and pastoral staff spanning across different generations to recount all the blessings that our Lord has given MCAC. We will then have prayers together and in small groups.

There will be a carnival and open house at Church on Saturday from 1 to 4pm. At 1pm, we will have a brief MCAC presentation and be greeted by the general director of the Town of Hampstead. Weather permitting, we will have games and BBQ hotdogs on the street. We wish to reach out to our community and to our next generation and let them know who we are and who we believe. Please bring newcomers, kids or simply drop-by and encourage our younger generation who prepares the carnival. Let’s build bridges and bring the Good News into the community. May the Lord use MCAC as the lampstand of His Gospel!

We will have a joint Sunday service at 2pm at Plaza Centre-Ville. It will not be at church. Online streaming is available if you are unable to attend in-person. Not only will all three congregations worship together, some sister churches will also join us. Service and refreshment are open to all, regardless of whether you have signed up for the banquet. Banquet starts at 6pm.

On the purpose/mission

Over the weekend, there will be many unfamiliar faces: from the same church but other congregations, from other churches, old friends, friends from out-of-town, new comers. This is a great opportunity to re-establish relationships with old friends and with God, to fellowship and even introduce God to newcomers. Reach out as an ambassador of God and be a good testimony. Say “hi” to others! Whether the celebrations are meaningful or not depends on us. God willing, make these events meaningful for you and for others. We want this weekend to be a catalyst to get back to in-person worship and fellowship, after more than 30 months of pandemic.

On logistics

Sunday venue is reachable by metro at Square Victoria - OACI station. Indoor parking is $10 for the day, available in the building (Cité Internationale) at the opposite side of the street. Please look at the pamphlet or website montreal-cac.org for specific information.

Upon arrival, the worship venue is downstairs on Level C in the Regence room. There are stairs, escalators and elevators to go down.

Sunday worship starts at 2 pm sharp. Since we are in unfamiliar territories, please allow plenty of time for travel.

Parents with kids: kids are welcome to join the Sunday worship if they are calm. There is a dedicated room "Cartier" where we have supervision for kids 5 years old and over.

Please prepare your hearts before Sunday service. We will partake of the Holy Communion.

On COVID

We all understand that COVID is still present. There are some risks involved in organizing such a large gathering.

Here are the precautions that we would like to take:

Since we have a wide spectrum of ages and health conditions, we will require a mask when we are indoor while we are not eating

If you have doubt whether you have contracted COVID before coming to an in-person event, please do the necessary check and decide to come or not yourself, as if you are going to visit your family members

We can make an exception to refund you the banquet fee if you are absent due to COVID or suspected COVID (the venue will not refund the church though)

Prayer items

Pray for restoration and revival; give thanks for the past 50 years; pray for guidance for the next 50 years. Pray that God uses our weekend, our church, and us as an instrument of Peace.

Pray for a safe weekend. Pray that our Lord keeps us safe from the virus and accident, looks after those who are in sickness and those who are traveling to attend the event.

"To him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever!"
