How to See Your Counselor
During Virtual Learning:
Please reach out via e-mail, Google Voice, Canvas Inbox, drop into their office hours, or schedule an appointment (on their Canvas page) . Information on how to connect with your counselor is available to students here: Maywood Counseling Page
When in the building:
If students need to see a Counselor, they should come see Ms. Siegfried in the Counseling Office and fill out a pink meeting request form, including the reason for the visit. Be sure to let her know if you have a concern about your safety or the safety of someone else so we can get you to a counselor right away. For less urgent requests, please know we will get you an appointment as soon as possible, but be patient. With so many students, it might take a day or so to get to you.
Parents can reach counselors by emailing or calling them directly, or they may stop in and fill out a meeting request slip. Keep in mind counselors are often occupied by students during the day and may not be immediately available if you stop in unexpectedly.
