Capable of Growl.
The product has issues with ⟨A⟩ when used in conjunction with [-].
As pointed out by producer Cillia, Rin and Len are now easier to mix.
The total variation offered by E.V.E.C. and XSY combined is notably less compared to other V4X packages.
Discounting E.V.E.C., both Rin and Len each have access to the equivalent of 6 additional voicebanks achievable via XSY. The total tone variation offered by the package comes to a theoretical 9 voicebanks each in total.
E.V.E.C colors offer a further of 2 variations per vocal to each Kagamine. Once used with XSY 8 additional tones are achievable. So E.V.E.C. offers a further 10 tone variations per Kagamine.
All of her voicebanks are recorded in a head voice.
She requires a little more editing than Len to create expressive or emotional singing.
All of her voicebanks can XSY with each other.
She is a voice acted vocal.
Range: F2~E4
Tempo: 50~170
Tone: Powerful, Cute
Genre: Rock, Pop, Dance, Enka
Has access to E.V.E.C.
The Kagamine V4X package, in contrast to the Megurine Luka V4X package, has only two E.V.E.C. colors; Power and Soft. This is because the situation was reversed. Instead of having expressions and coloring them with tones, they have tones which were then colored with expression.
The Pronunciation Extension Function enables a to switch to a stronger pronunciation when moving from consonant to vowel.
This Stronger Pronunciation is intended to work along with GWL when creating a scream by turning on Stronger Pronunciation and adding a sufficient amount of Growl.
This can also create a trilled R.
The top of her vocal range is not quite as high as the original V2 vocal, however her lower range is greatly increased.
Overall, her POWER vocal has a much greater range than her V2 did. This fixes the main issue with the original Append concerning its limited range.
As with many other power voicebanks, the general performance of her POWER vocal produces a notorious sharp and metallic tone.
The vocal can come off as too strong when using a combination of the E.V.E.C. functions. This leads to loss of quality.
This vocal has strong consonants.
POWER serves to create tone variation and expression for Rin by combining it via XSY with WARM and SWEET.
The expression can be controlled with both of her voice colors, Soft and Power. When used for XSY, this will adjust the expression further, allowing for combinations such as a softer POWER/SWEET XSY.
This was designed to compliment Len’s POWER vocal.
Her mid-rage works best and has decent high notes.
Her low notes have a dry sounding tone.
She can use Pronunciation Extension which is designed to take GWL and other options into account. This version is only designed to strengthen the voice.
Requires a little more editing than Len to create expressive or emotional singing.
XSYing with SWEET can create a similar tone to ACT2.
Can sound very good when XSYed with WARM.
⟨RA⟩ samples are noticeably weaker than her other samples but can be fixed with E.V.E.C..
Gives her more power.
A soft and gentle voice.
Range: F2~C4
Tempo: 50~160
Tone: Soft
Genre: Soft Rock, Ballad, Pop, Folk
In this version of the vocal, WARM is designed with the purpose of adding a tone to POWER, or to have POWER add tone to it.
Her range and tempo has been increased which allows WARM to cover more genres of music. This fixes the issue with the original Append vocal concerning its limited range.
Overall, her vocal range has been greatly increased.
Without being used to combine with POWER, or just using POWER with no E.V.E.C. functions at all in place, WARM acts as a normal voicebank and will function the same as any other.
Some of her vowel transitions produce a noise if used at higher tempos.
WARM is meant to have a happy and relaxing feeling about it and has a whisper-like tone, giving the impression of tiredness.
Rin's WARM voicebank is meant to bridge the vocal gap between her POWER and SWEET vocals, giving a balance of strength and softness.
The tone gives this vocal an acoustic-like quality.
WARM is considered the mirror version of Len's COLD vocal.
In this version of the vocal, WARM's ideal purpose is adding a tone to POWER mostly so is better suited as a second vocal in XSY. It will add the effect of a warm tone which can then have its expression greatly adjusted using the E.V.E.C tools. The result is a happier or cheerful tone.
SWEET and WARM may sound very similar. Generally SWEET is softer and breathier
WARM focuses on the lower tones of her range resulting in duller highs but more depth in the lows.
Can sound very good when XSYed with POWER.
Range: G2~D4
Tempo: 55~155
Tone: Soft, Warm, Whispery
Genre: Bossa Nova, French Pop, Ambient, Electronica
Without being used to combine with POWER, or just using POWER with no E.V.E.C. functions at all in place, SWEET acts as a normal voicebank and will function the same as any other.
SWEET's upper range has also been slightly decreased. The loss of the higher notes is due to it no longer being able to go as far up in the octaves as it once did, in order to support the lower notes.
SWEET has the same direction as the Hatsune Miku Append SWEET vocal, hence it is meant to be a soft quiet vocal.
This vocal is also designed to be a contrast to Len's SERIOUS vocal.
It is a whisper type vocal with bright pronunciation.
Rin's SWEET voice is the quietest of her appends, and is good for slow, peaceful songs such as lullabies and ballads.
Due to SWEET being the quietest of Rin’s vocals, the VOCALOID engine may sometimes cause volume irregularities with her consonants.
In this version of the vocal, SWEET's ideal purpose is adding a tone to POWER mostly so is better suited as a second vocal in XSY. It will add the effect of a sweeter more whisper-like tone which can then have its expression greatly adjusted using the E.V.E.C tools. This makes Rin sound smaller and more cute, adding an air of shyness to the other vocals.
SWEET and WARM may sound very similar. Generally SWEET is softer and breathier
XSYing with POWER can create a similar tone to Act 2.
