  • E.V.E.C colors offer a further of 2 variations per vocal to each Kagamine. Once used with XSY 8 additional tones are achievable. So E.V.E.C. offers a further 10 tone variations per Kagamine.

• The Kagamine V4X package, in contrast to the Megurine Luka V4X package, has only two E.V.E.C. colors; Power and Soft. This is because the situation was reversed, instead of having expressions and coloring them with tones, they have tones which were then colored with expression.

• The Pronunciation Extension Function enables a to switch to a stronger pronunciation when moving from consonant to vowel. 

  • This Stronger Pronunciation is intended to work along with GWL when creating a screaming voice, by turning on Stronger Pronunciation and adding a sufficient amount of Growl.

  • This can also create a trilled R.

• His overall tempo and range has increased, allowing POWER to cover slower genres of music. 

• As well as Rin's POWER range being increased, Len's POWER also has a slightly increased range compared to his V2.

• As with many other power voicebanks, the general performance of his POWER vocals produce a notorious sharp and metallic tone.

• POWER serves to create tone variation and expression for Len by combining it via XSY with SERIOUS and COLD.

• The expression can be controlled with both of his voice colors, Soft and Power. When used for XSY, this will adjust the expression further, allowing for combinations such as a softer POWER/SERIOUS XSY.

• The vocal tone is that of a forceful vocal to give strong sounding lyrics.

• Compared to Rin's POWER it is intended to be a more solid vocal with a chunky sounding tone.

• He suffers from low-to-high octave transitions where he sounds less masculine in the higher octaves.

• This vocal has strong consonants.

• This was designed to compliment Rin's POWER vocal.

• POWER is strong but flexible with a thick timbre.

• Vowels drop randomly if XSY'd too much with COLD.  

• Usage of E.V.E.C. can make him sound like his throat is tight. Outside of this it has little to no effect.

• Vocals should be compressed carefully when mixing to avoid overemphasis on consonants and to avoid overpowering the music.

• Can produce very emotional and expressive singing when paired with some parameter and VSQ editing as well as vibrato.

• In this version of the vocal, COLD's ideal purpose is adding a tone to POWER mostly so is better suited as a second vocal in XSY. It will add the effect of a gentle soft tone which can then have its expression greatly adjusted using E.V.E.C.

• COLD is the mirror vocal to Rin's WARM. 

• It is also supposed to be a moody atmospheric vocal. 

• It uses soft pronunciation that is not too loose.

• COLD has a more open tone than SERIOUS, but is softer than POWER.

• Len's COLD Append serves as a bridge between his POWER and SERIOUS Appends.

• According to Wat, during the development of the original Append, it is like a combination of Miku's DARK and SOFT appends.

• COLD is more focused on the highs of his range resulting in fuller high sounds but less attractive lower sounds. 

• Without being used to combine with POWER, or just using POWER with no E.V.E.C. functions at all in place, SERIOUS acts as a normal voicebank and will function the same as any other.

• As noted in a comparison made by VOCALOID TV, both Len COLD and SERIOUS do not offer many differences between them, both having a soft airy timbre in the performance.

• In this version of the vocal, SERIOUS's ideal purpose is adding a tone to POWER mostly so is better suited as a second vocal in XSY. It will add the effect of a lonely soft tone which can then have its expression greatly adjusted using E.V.E.C.

• SERIOUS is meant to be a contrasting vocal to Rin's SWEET vocal.

• SERIOUS has a natural breath-sound, and is considered the most emotional of Len's Append voicebanks.

• Len's SERIOUS Append can handle softer and slower songs better than POWER or COLD.

• SERIOUS, being a whisper voicebank, has the potential to suffer from raspiness.

• His range has been slightly increased.
