Privacy Policy for Maxxmo

This Privacy Policy describes how Maxxmo ("we", "our", or "the app") handles information when you use our Android application. Maxxmo is a ride aggregation assistant designed to help Rapido driver-partners manage ride requests more efficiently.
By installing or using Maxxmo, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app and revoke any permissions granted to it.
Maxxmo does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.
All processing happens entirely on your device. No data is sent to external servers, cloud services, or third parties.
The only data Maxxmo transiently processes - held in memory for the duration of an active session only - is information visible on the Rapido driver app screen, specifically:
Pickup addresses shown on ride request cards
Fare amounts displayed on the Rapido UI
Order counts and ride status indicators
Notification text from Rapido ride alerts
This data is used solely to populate the Maxxmo overlay visible to you. It is never written to storage, logged, or transmitted.
Maxxmo uses Android's Accessibility Service (android.permission.BIND_ACCESSIBILITY_SERVICE) to read on-screen content from the Rapido driver app. This allows Maxxmo to detect ride requests, fare details, pickup addresses, and order counts displayed within Rapido's UI.
This data is processed in real time on your device solely to show you ride information through the Maxxmo overlay. It is never stored to disk, logged, or transmitted anywhere.
Maxxmo uses the Notification Listener permission (android.permission.BIND_NOTIFICATION_LISTENER_SERVICE) to detect ride-related notifications from Rapido. This helps Maxxmo stay aware of incoming ride alerts even when the app is minimised.
Notification content is processed locally and transiently. No notification data is retained or sent off-device.
Maxxmo uses the SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW permission to draw a floating overlay on top of the Rapido app. This overlay shows you a summary of available rides and a status circle without requiring you to switch apps.
The overlay is purely a display layer — it does not capture input from other apps or collect any data.
Maxxmo runs a foreground service (android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE and FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE) to keep the app active while you are online. This is required to maintain accessibility and notification monitoring in the background.
A persistent notification ("Maxxmo is active — Scanning for ride requests") is shown while the service is running, as required by Android. You can stop the service at any time via the notification or by going offline in the app.
Maxxmo uses the REORDER_TASKS permission solely to bring the Rapido app to the foreground at appropriate moments in the automation flow. This does not affect any other application.
Maxxmo does not collect:
Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
Location data or GPS coordinates
Financial or payment information
Device identifiers or advertising IDs
Usage analytics or crash reports
Any data from apps other than what is minimally necessary to display ride information from Rapido
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share any information obtained through Maxxmo with any third party, advertiser, or data broker — at any time, for any purpose.
Maxxmo does not integrate Firebase, Google Analytics, AdMob, or any other third-party analytics, advertising, or data-collection SDK. No data is shared with third parties.
Maxxmo interacts with the Rapido driver app solely by reading its on-screen accessibility tree. Maxxmo is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Roppen Transportation Services Private Limited (Rapido) in any way.
Maxxmo holds ride data only in memory while the foreground service is active. When you go offline or close the app, all in-memory data is immediately discarded. Nothing is written to permanent storage at any point.
You can stop all data processing by Maxxmo at any time by:
Tapping "Go Offline" in the app or in the persistent notification, which stops the foreground service immediately
Revoking the Accessibility Service permission for Maxxmo in Android Settings → Accessibility
Revoking the Notification Listener permission in Android Settings → Special App Access → Notification Access
Uninstalling the app, which removes all permissions and any in-memory state
After any of the above actions, Maxxmo ceases all processing immediately.
Maxxmo is intended for adult professional driver-partners and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect any information from minors.
Because Maxxmo processes all data locally and retains nothing, there is no stored personal data that could be subject to a breach. The app does not make any outbound network connections to external servers.
This Policy and your use of Maxxmo are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, the rules framed thereunder, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), as applicable.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the app after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
For any questions, complaints, or requests relating to this Privacy Policy or Maxxmo's data practices, please contact our Grievance Officer. We will endeavour to address your grievance within 30 days of receipt.
