Maxwell Old Settlers

Celebration time is August 4th through the 7th, 2022.

The theme this year is "Childhood Memories Forever".

This year's theme is a celebration of one community that has spanned 121 years and 7 generations creating childhood memories that last a lifetime. We are all grateful to be celebrating this year's festivities as we focus on the generations to come.

Old Settlers has events and activities for people of all ages. Some examples are carnival rides, sanctioned rodeo and truck/tractor pulls, sand volleyball, softball/baseball, live music from local bands, fireworks, good eats and drinks all weekend long. Do not forget our very popular parade! The activity events page is frequently updated as we receive commitments and the final copy will be published and available in early summer. Please visit our Flyer of Events page to keep updated on the changes.

Old Settlers has a rich history that dates back to the late 1800's. It came into existence as an outgrowth of the reunions held by soldiers of the Civil War and members of the Grand Army of the Republic. You can see more details of the history on our history page.
