Maxwell Kellogg
Assistant Professor, University of Oslo
I am a tenure-track Assistant Professor at the Economics Department of the University of Oslo. I am also a Research Associate at the Institute for Fiscal Studies, and a Researcher at Statistics Norway.
My research interests span topics in public economics, labor economics, and applied econometrics.
My current works-in-progress study 1) the utilization and value of social insurance programs, and 2) how households insure against risks more generally. These projects leverage administrative data in the United States, Taiwan, and Norway.
Before Oslo, I was a NBER Post-Doctoral Fellow in Retirement and Disability Research. I received my PhD from the Kenneth C. Griffin Department of Economics at the University of Chicago in 2021.
