If you want a durable, multi-part shield to protect your existing premium headphones from sweat, dust, and scratches during workouts or travel, choose Maxjoy AirPods Max Case; if you need a complete wireless audio system with active noise cancellation, extended battery life, and crystal-clear call quality for daily commuting and meetings, choose Thunelec Earbuds.
• Maxjoy AirPods Max Case: Its biggest strength is comprehensive physical protection using soft silicone and clear TPU materials designed specifically for the Apple ecosystem; its trade-off is that it adds zero audio functionality because it is merely an accessory shell. This pick is strictly for owners of the original Apple AirPods Max who want to safeguard their investment without altering the sound.
• Thunelec Earbuds: Its biggest strength is its all-in-one capability featuring Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, 48 hours of total playback time, and advanced ANC/ENC technology for superior call clarity; its trade-off is the in-ear form factor which may not suit everyone compared to over-ear designs. This pick is ideal for anyone seeking a standalone pair of sleep headphones for calls or a gaming headset for calls that offers versatility across devices.
The Maxjoy solution is not about upgrading your audio performance; it is about preserving the condition of the headphones you already own. If you are someone who frequently takes their high-end gear to the gym, runs through the rain, or travels on crowded buses, this three-piece set acts as a dedicated armor. The kit includes a silicone headband cover, clear TPU ear cup covers, and silicone earpad covers, creating a snug fit that prevents bulk while offering shock resistance. The material choice here is deliberate: soft silicone provides a smooth touch feeling and anti-fingerprint properties, while the clear TPU allows you to see the original design of your headphones underneath.
This product is designed for the user who values the specific aesthetic of the Apple AirPods Max but worries about wear and tear. The waterproof and sweatproof nature of the covers means you can push yourself harder during intense workouts without fearing damage to the cushions or the metal components. Furthermore, the design respects the original functionality of the device; the precise cutouts ensure that your headphones still enter sleep mode when stored in their Smart Case, maintaining the seamless experience Apple built into the hardware. It is a passive protector that keeps your expensive equipment looking new.
However, if you are looking for a way to improve your sound isolation or add features like noise cancellation to these headphones, this case will not help. It does not change the acoustic profile, nor does it offer any electronic enhancements. It is purely a cosmetic and structural shield. If you do not own the specific Apple model compatible with these dimensions, or if you prefer a hard-shell carry case for storage rather than a protective skin for active use, this item will not meet your needs. It is a niche accessory for a specific owner who wants to keep their current setup pristine without buying a completely new set of audio gear.

In contrast to the passive protection of the Maxjoy case, the Thunelec earbuds are an active audio powerhouse designed for those who need a fresh start or a versatile companion for life on the go. These earbuds utilize Bluetooth 5.4 technology, which offers significant improvements in speed, efficiency, and stability over previous generations. This makes them an excellent choice for anyone needing reliable connectivity for work, travel, or daily calls without the frustration of dropped connections. The inclusion of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) ensures that you can block out up to 45dB of environmental noise, making them perfect for noisy environments like trains or busy offices.
For professionals who rely heavily on voice communication, the ENC feature is a game-changer. It isolates your voice from background chatter, ensuring that your calls remain crisp and clear regardless of where you are standing. Whether you are taking a meeting in a coffee shop or driving in traffic, the transparency mode allows you to hear your surroundings safely while still managing your audio. The 14.2mm bio-carbon fiber dynamic coils deliver powerful bass down to 50Hz and clear highs up to 5kHz, providing a rich listening experience. With five customizable EQ modes—Standard, Classic, Jazz, Rock, and Pop—you can tailor the sound signature to match your specific taste, whether you are consuming music, podcasts, or engaging in long conversations.
Battery life is another critical area where these earbuds excel. You get between 6 to 8 hours of continuous use on a single charge, and the charging case extends this total to a massive 48 hours. This eliminates the anxiety of running out of power during a long day of work or travel. The smart charging case even displays real-time battery levels, so you always know how much juice is left. Additionally, the IPX7 waterproof rating means you can wear them in the rain or through heavy sweats without worry. The ergonomic in-ear design ensures stability and comfort, making them suitable for extended wear as sleep headphones for calls or as a reliable pair of head phones for calls during your commute.

If your primary goal is finding a reliable pair of sleep headphones for calls or a robust gaming headset for calls that doesn't require you to own a separate, expensive headphone set first, the Thunelec option is the smarter investment. It delivers the technology, battery life, and call quality needed for work and play, whereas the Maxjoy product only serves to protect something you likely already possess. In my opinion, unless you are specifically trying to save your current AirPods Max from gym damage, the Thunelec earbuds provide far more utility and performance for the average buyer.
