Meet the Team
Project Overview
Challenge: Astronomika Propulsion is opening a new plant in a remote area of Montana. The plant will have its own food, safety, and medical operations. The company needs training for their AstroCafe Personnel on safe food handling according to OSHA mandates. The project sponsor has requested training in two modalities for flexibility.
Solution: After SME interviews and performing a needs analysis, the Maximum Velocity Learners team proposes an eLearning course covering the OSHA Compliance Standards complete with interactions and knowledge checks. As the second modality, the team will provide Instructor-Led Training on-site which will include a slide deck, Facilitator and Participant Guide, interactive activities, demonstrations in the kitchen facility, and job aids. Each training modality will end with a quiz and a recommended checklist that employees may use as performance support to ensure OSHA Compliance of at least 98% on any given restaurant audit.
Result: AstroCafe personnel felt well prepared for any surprise OSHA Compliance audits, reporting that the kitchen demonstrations and interactivity of the training helped them retain the necessary protocols to keep themselves and their customers safe. They appreciated the variety of job aids posted in the kitchen as it made their daily tasks easier.
