"THIS IS GONNA HURT"

Before the Great War, Impactor was yet another Cybertronian constructed cold. In a society built on the back of Functionism, Impactor’s Cybertronian alt-mode predisposed him to working in the mines. At Point Nova, he would befriend a miner by the name of Megatron, who had developed his own radical ideas. Impactor followed him, and became an early follower of the Decepticon movement. When the Great War began, and the brutality of the Decepticons began to match the brutality of the government they rallied against, Impactor defected, joining the Autobots.

Among the ranks of the Autobots, Impactor would join The Wreckers, a Special Operations combat group tasked with pursuing high-risk-high-reward operations founded by Threnody, eventually becoming its longest lasting leader and member.

As the Great War has become messier and messier, so too have the Wreckers, Impactor especially. It all came to a head on Pova, where the Wreckers had chased their rivals, Squadron X. Upon their capture, Impactor was told by Prowl that a neutrality agreement with Pova would keep the Wreckers from bringing the ‘Cons in. Incensed, Impactor locked himself in a room with Squadron X and killed them all.

Discharged and stripped of his command of the Wreckers, Impactor was found guilty and sent to Garrus-9, where he spent the next 20 years, only leaving when Snare helped Impactor escape to find help and stop Overlord, who took control of the prison world. The help Impactor found would be his old friends, The Wreckers.
