"DEATH IS MINE I KNOW"

To say that the Cyber Lin Kuei member known as Frost had a difficult childhood would be an understatement. The both of her parents were fiends, running off to the next fix and dragging their little responsibility with them. Over time, they grew desperate, and the money wasn’t enough. They didn’t know Frost was awake when they talked about selling her to fund their vices. At that moment, Frost had a choice: fight or flight. She chose to fight. By the time the authorities discovered their bodies, bunched into a freezer, Frost was long gone, having taken the leftover money to run to L.A. There, she spent her adolescent years in an underground fight club as champion, fighting and killing everyday to survive. It would be wrong to say that she learned might makes right, but she understood that might buy you bread to live.

After the Black Dragon had raided the club to capture one of the combatants, Frost had nowhere else to go. That is, until Raiden came to her, telling Frost to find Sub Zero, and join the Lin Kuei. She, along with the others who have received the message from the thunder god, traveled to Arctika, finding Sub Zero and beginning their training as Lin Kuei. Frost in particular, became the personal student of Sub Zero.

Yet for as long as she studied under him, Frost felt neglected, held back, repressed by Kuai Liang. Frost grew angrier as envy and rage consumed her. She knew her power, yet could not understand why she was restricted by Sub Zero. Then, on a mission, she found Sektor, dead no more. Sektor promised her power and revenge, both of which Frost was happy to accept. The process of gaining her power was painful, to say the least; but she emerged as a machine, a cyber Lin Kuei. This clan needed more members, and Frost knew where to find them. The Lin Kuei hadn’t stood a chance. Sub Zero was left as a survivor, and Frost had been unchained. She had finally been allowed to unleash her true potential… but at the cost of her soul.
