"LEAD ME TO HEAVEN WHEN WE DIE"

Born on Sargasso in 2511, Daisy was among the 75 children who were abducted by the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) and inducted into the SPARTAN II Program. She, along with the other children, underwent a series of augmentations to transform them into the super soldiers that ONI wanted them to be. Daisy, along with four of her peers, staged an escape. She herself would smuggle herself off of Reach and back to Sargasso in order to see her family again, only to be met with a clone of herself. This, as Doctor Catherine Halsey would explain, was how ONI managed to abduct 75 children without anyone noticing: they cloned the kids, and left them to die. Withdrawn, Daisy would return to the SPARTAN II Program.

Daisy would later be considered the only of the runaway Spartans to remain a part of the program, with one of the others reduced to an emotional wreck upon meeting his clone and the other three having been declared MIA. Fully becoming a Spartan, Daisy was put in Gold Team, and she, along with Green Team and Blue Team, would take part in Operation: SILENT STORM in 2526, which bought humanity time to fight back against their newest enemy; the Covenant. Ironically, her skills in having evaded ONI capture would make her the infiltration expert among the Spartan IIs. She would eventually be deployed on Harvest two years later, suffering critical injuries during an engagement with Covenant forces and only surviving due to the intervention of John-117. Daisy would recover, and then continue to take part in the war effort against the Covenant.
