"HAZY SHADE OF WINTER"

Bi-Han, along with his younger brother, Kuai Liang, were abducted as children by the Lin Kuei. The two of them honed their skills as assassins and fighters, aided no doubt by their abilities of cryomancy. Bi-Han in particular would excel and soon become the top assassin of the Lin Kuei under the code name: Sub-Zero. He completed many missions for the clan, though some of these missions had underlying ulterior motives. It was with these skills and this record that Bi-Han, along with other members of the Lin Kuei, would be selected to participate in the Mortal Kombat tournament for the fate of Earthrealm.

Among the foes Bi-Han faced was a specter by the name of Scorpion, who claims that Sub-Zero had killed his clan and slaughtered his family. Scorpion was the last foe Bi-Han faced in the tournament, because Scorpion killed him.

His soul was damned to the Netherrealm, where it was found by the evil sorcerer Quan Chi. His soul was twisted into the wraith known as Noob Saibot, and he would act as a faithful servant of Shao Khan and the forces of Outworld. When the rules of the tournament were bypassed, Noob was among those who had entered Earthrealm as part of the invading force. It was in a fight with the warrior known as Nightwolf that Noob was kicked into the Soulnado. That should have been the end.

Only it wasn't. Somehow, within the Soulnado, Bi-Han was separated from Noob Saibot, and granted a body of his own. Presumed dead by all who know him, or worse, Bi-Han has turned to assassinations and mercenary work in order to occupy his time, as his childhood with the Lin Kuei has only left him with those skills. The Lin Kuei, to his knowledge, are gone. And so, he has moved on.

But the past isn't through with him yet...
