Privacy Policy

Mavpa Games (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data is collected by the Android mobile game Вгадай Слово / Guess The Word (the “App” or “Game”) and how we use and protect that information. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

- Information We Collect and Use -

- No Personal Account Data: We do not require you to create an account or log in to use the App. The Game uses Unreal Engine’s automatic login for platform features (such as Google Play Games achievements), but this is handled by Google and no personal login credentials or account information are collected or stored by us. We do not collect any personally identifiable information (such as your name, email, phone number, etc.) from you​. The App’s content is suitable for all ages, and we intentionally design it to operate without collecting personal data. 

- Local Game Data: All game progress and settings are saved locally on your device. This means your puzzle progress, scores, and preferences stay on your phone or tablet and are not sent to our servers. We do not have access to this locally stored information, and it remains under your control. 

- Automatically Collected Data (Non-Personal): When you use the App, certain technical information may be collected automatically. This data does not identify you personally​. For example, we may gather data such as your device type/model, operating system version, and general usage statistics or crash reports. This information is collected solely to improve the App’s performance and user experience. It cannot be used to identify you and is used in an aggregated, anonymous manner​

- Advertising Data: The App features Google AdMob for rewarded ads (optional ads that you can watch to receive in-game rewards). We have configured AdMob to serve appropriate ads for a general audience (rated 3+/6+, suitable for all ages). AdMob may collect anonymous device identifiers (such as your Advertising ID) and usage data in order to serve ads and measure their effectiveness. No sensitive personal information is provided to us through this process. All advertising data is handled by Google AdMob and is subject to Google’s privacy policies​. We do not receive any personally identifying info from ads. For example, AdMob might track that an ad was viewed on a certain type of device or in a certain country, but this data is aggregate and cannot identify an individual user​.

- Location Information: The App does not collect precise location data from your device​. We do not request or track your GPS location. Ad networks like AdMob might infer a general location (e.g., country or region) based on your IP address for ad targeting, but this is coarse location only. No precise or real-time location information (such as GPS coordinates) is ever collected or stored by the App. 

- In-App Purchases: The Game offers optional in-app purchases through Google Play. If you choose to make a purchase, it will be processed securely by Google via the Google Play store. We do not collect or handle your payment information (such as credit card numbers or billing details) – that data is managed by Google. We receive only a notification of the purchase and the item bought, to unlock the relevant feature in the Game. No personal financial information is provided to us when you make in-app purchases. (Please refer to Google’s Payment Terms and Privacy Policy for details on how they handle your data during a purchase.)

- Third-Party Services -

We use the following third-party services to operate and improve the App. These services may collect data as described below. We do not control the data collected by these third parties, and their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review their privacy practices.

- Google AdMob: AdMob is an advertising service provided by Google Inc. We use AdMob to show rewarded video ads in the Game (for example, you may choose to watch an ad to gain extra hints). AdMob may collect device identifiers (like your Advertising ID), IP address, and other information about your device or app usage to provide targeted advertising. All ad-related data is collected and processed by Google – we do not see or store this information​. Google may use this data to show you relevant ads within the App. No precise location or personal identity information is collected through AdMob by us. You can learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy (available at Google’s website). We are not responsible for the data practices of AdMob; any information AdMob gathers is handled according to Google’s privacy policy and not by Mavpa Games​.

- Google Play Services: The App is distributed via Google Play and may use Google Play Services for certain features (such as achievements, leaderboards, or secure purchases). When you download the App from Google Play, you are also subject to Google Play’s own Privacy Policy and terms. Google Play Services (including the Google Play Games login) may collect some data as part of their normal operation (for instance, Google may know that you installed the app and may record achievements under your Google account). Mavpa Games does not receive any personal data from Google Play Services aside from what is described above (we only get anonymous aggregated information like install counts, crash diagnostics via Crashlytics, and purchase confirmations). Any personal data held by Google (like your Google profile or account ID) remains with Google and is not shared with us.

- Children’s Privacy -

Protecting children’s privacy is important to us. The App is rated suitable for young audiences (ages 3+ or 6+), and we have designed it to not collect personal information from users. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13​. In fact, as noted above, we do not collect personal data from any users, regardless of age. If you are under 13, you can enjoy the Game without providing any personal details. We encourage parents and guardians to be aware of their children’s app usage and to help enforce this Privacy Policy. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take immediate steps to delete that information from our records. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided any personal data to us, please contact us at our support email (listed below) so that we can promptly delete the child’s information. We adhere to applicable laws such as the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations which prohibit the collection of personal data from children without parental consent.

- Your Rights and Choices -

We believe in giving users control and choice regarding their data. Since we do not collect personal data or require an account, there are limited data-related requests you would need to make. However, you still have certain rights and options:

- Opt-Out of Advertising Personalization: If you prefer not to receive personalized ads, you can opt out of interest-based advertising on your device. For example, on Android devices, you can go to Google Settings > Ads > Enable “Opt out of Ads Personalization.” This will inform AdMob to serve non-personalized ads (or no ads) in your apps. Our implementation of AdMob will follow any such setting – if you opt out, AdMob should show only non-targeted ads. Note that even with non-personalized ads, AdMob may still collect basic information (like the fact that an ad was shown) for reporting purposes, but it will not use your data to tailor ads to your profile.

- Opt-Out of Data Collection: If you wish to stop all data collection by the App, you can simply stop using or uninstall the App. You always have the option to remove the App from your device. By uninstalling the game, you will cease all information collection by the App​ (the locally stored game data will also be removed from your device when you delete the app).

- Access and Deletion Requests: Because we do not store personal data on our servers, there is generally no information we can retrieve or delete about an individual user. However, if you have ever contacted us via email or provided us with information in some way, you have the right to request details of any personal information we hold about you and to ask that we delete it. We will honor any legitimate requests to access, correct, or delete personal data we might have, in accordance with applicable laws. - Do Not Track Signals: The App itself does not track users across third-party apps or websites, so it does not respond to “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals in the way a website would. The third-party services (AdMob, Firebase) handle data collection according to their own policies; typically, mobile ad networks do not currently honor DNT signals, but you can use the opt-out methods described above.

- EU/EEA Users – GDPR Rights: If you are using the App from the European Union or a similar jurisdiction that grants data subject rights under GDPR or other laws, note that we do not process personal data except possibly some device identifiers via Google as a data processor. In general, if you have any concerns or requests pertaining to your data, you may contact us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe your data is being handled improperly. We will do our best to cooperate and comply with all regulations applicable to us as a provider of the App.

- Data Security -

We take data security seriously and implement reasonable measures to protect the limited information that is handled by the App. Please note that we do not collect much data ourselves (no personal info on our servers), but the third-party services we use (Google’s AdMob and Firebase) are reputable companies that employ industry-standard security practices to protect data. Crash logs and ad-related data transmitted to Google are sent securely (e.g., using encryption) as per Google’s protocols. 

While we strive to protect your information and keep the App secure, remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Thus, we cannot guarantee absolute security of data. However, since we intentionally minimize data collection, the risks are reduced. We also keep the App updated to address security and privacy issues as they arise. If we ever become aware of a security breach affecting user data, we will take appropriate actions to inform users and remedy the situation as required by law.

- Changes to This Privacy Policy -

We may update or modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Effective Date” and make the new Privacy Policy available via our Google Play listing or within the App. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically for any updates. Your continued use of the App after any changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree with the changes, you should discontinue use of the App and, if necessary, uninstall it.
