Women's Renewal Weekend Retreat

October Women’s Retreat

At The Villa Maria

September 20-22

The inspiration for this weekend is that we as women may have to much on our plates or we may feel that we are not doing enough or good enough at what we are doing. Well my courageous friends, this weekend is one where you will be invited to move, laugh, love, write, meditate, journal, nurture and heal your body, mind and soul. Showing up in the world with an open heart as yourself takes so much courage and I want you to know you are never alone, you are supported and that you belong.

"Courage is contagious. Every time we choose courage, we make everyone around us a little better and the world a little braver." ~ Brene Brown

When you take time to quiet the chaos of the world around you, you not only get clear on your own message/direction/voice, you also become an inspiration to those around you.

This Transformational Women’s Retreat is a space for you to show up as you are. During our time together healing begins as soon as you set foot onto the land. The Villa Maria is a Spiritual Retreat Center that offers a beautiful and tranquil space for spiritual growth. You will have the opportunity to create your own retreat that includes time set aside for movement, creating, healing and nourishing from the inside out.

Who is this retreat for? Women who want to make a greater impact in what they do and with their families but are just overwhelmed and tapped out.

What is it about? A weekend retreat for women where they can renew their spirit, find their voice and live more courageously. Regaining a sense of belonging.

Why? There is a shift for women to regain their foothold within themselves. Women are an instrumental part of society and the world. As women we can offer a rebirth of nurturing oneself and others while still being courageous, authentic and a living in the world with an open heart.

There is one and only one rule: To take impeccable care of yourself.

Description of Workshops

Healing Through the Generations: This guided meditation and energy experience is an opportunity to release the thoughts, beliefs and judgments we hold onto and pass from generation to generation. It’s also an opportunity to connect with ancestral wisdom that didn't get passed on due to fear, shame, or family circumstances.

Laughter Yoga: a revolutionary movement that’s blazing a happy trail across the globe! Its simple premise is that anyone can laugh. We don’t need jokes, comedy, or even a sense of humor. All that’s necessary is the desire to laugh—to open up our hearts, letting the joy of laughter flow. Laughter is so good for your mind, body and spirit! No yoga poses involved but you must invite your inner 5 year old to come out to play!

Playing with Patterns: No artistic talent required. It’s an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and a fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. A non-representational and unplanned practice that allows you to focus on each stroke and not worry about the result. You just need to know the steps. The result is a delightful surprise! Quiet your mind and experience a sense of peace and calm.

T'ai Chi Chih (pronounced tie chee chuh): is a mix of meditation and movement that focuses on balance and the circulation of energy known in Chinese philosophy as chi. T'ai Chi Chih is a variation of tai chi but simpler. T'ai Chi Chih only has 19 stand-alone movements and one pose.

Your Mindful Living Guide and Retreat Leader

Compassion in action is crucial to creating more peace not only in our lives but also in our world. During yoga and meditation you will have the opportunity to practice on your mat how you want to live your life. To move with compassion and kindness. Taking what you learn on your mat and cushion into your life and through your day.

YOU have the opportunity here to start to recreate and be supported 1000% of the life you want to live.

My deepest intention is to create a more compassionate world to live in now and for future generations.

DENA DeLUCO

Life is FAST … and getting faster!

It’s so easy to jump on the hamster wheel - without ever realizing that we’re running in circles!

This weekend offers the opportunity to simply Stop… and BE (no judgments, no guilt, no blame or shame) Just BE. Be present for yourself. Be present for those in your company.

It is my deepest wish for you to take this weekend – and let it be Just For You.

Just. For. You. When was the last time you did something that was Just For You?

HYPNOSIS:

Hypnosis is my ‘go to’ for assisting you to go deep within yourself to clear blocks, heal wounds and to tap-in to the essence of who you are. In your sessions with me, you will be given the opportunity to influence your own thoughts, beliefs and actions. Hypnosis can be described a lovely guided meditation that can introduce you to a sweet calm and your inner spiritual world.

This level of awareness can open us up to higher levels of inspiration, creativity and well-being.

WRITING CIRCLE (No Writing Experience Needed. For Real - None!):

Our circle will begin with a deep dive meditation. Here we connect with our ‘Sacred Heart’. A topic is dropped, and then we write. It’s often called “Stream of Consciousness” writing… which simply means – No filters, No Judgment, No need for Editing, No worries about Punctuation or Grammar… Just Write! After a time, we read (there zero pressure to read – only if you feel inspired to do so).

The beautiful thing about this process is that while we connect with our own Sacred Heart… we are simultaneously weaving together a collective heart. This practice has been the doorway to answers, spiritual awakening and healing on the level of the physical, mental and emotional.

KIM COOPER

I believe that every choice we make affects the next seven generations. If you’re feeling angry, fearful or stressed, it’s not just affecting you. If you extrapolate that backwards, we are at the effect of the thoughts, feelings, beliefs and experiences of our parents and their ancestors. Some of those beliefs serve us well. Many of them don’t, but we either don’t know how to change them, or they reside in our subconscious and we aren’t even aware of them.

I will be offering a guided meditation and energy experience at the retreat; an opportunity to release the energetic debris we hold onto and pass from generation to generation. It’s also an opportunity to connect with ancestral wisdom that may have been lost due to fear, shame, or family circumstances.

YOU have the power to heal your generational line, both forward and back. Are you ready?

BIO

I work with Pathfinders - visionaries who see the world in a different way than everyone else. Pathfinders see possibility where others see limitations, they work on their own healing even when it’s uncomfortable, and they have the unique ability to shift hearts and minds with their thoughts and words (once they decide to stop hiding their brilliance.)

A Pathfinder myself, I spent many years as an airline pilot before starting my business, Pathfinder Healing Arts. (In aviation a Pathfinder is the first airplane that flies out after a storm, charting a safe course for all those that follow.) A recovering people pleaser, I am passionate about alleviating shame, healing family histories, accessing ancestral wisdom, mindfulness, intuition and energy work.
