Soil Enrichment Through Utilization of Waste Natural Latex Gloves.

A solid waste management into value-added products is of prime importance in today’s scenario to develop green society through green technology. Millions of latex gloves are used and disposed away worldwide which has hampered many landforms and water bodies. The appropriate waste management of such products is necessary to reduced landfills and blockage of water bodies. Natural latex gloves are manufactured from natural latex which is a sap of Hevea Brasiliensis tree and its chemical composition is Polyisoprene, protein and other Non-Rubber Substances. Natural Organic Matter and other elements such as Nitrogen, Phosphorous, and Potassium are responsible for Soil fertility. The present invention checks the effect of waste natural latex on plant growth and soil fertilization. The findings of the present invention shows faster and better plant growth in onion specimen which was planted in soil mixed with scrap latex gloves as compare to soil without addition of waste gloves.
