MBPC is a biomechanics company that operates a program in which biomechanists analyze athletes’ techniques to assess performance effectiveness and TO Detect injury-related errors.

Our Player Development Program consist of cohorts that train together for 3-month terms and includes:

3 Month Tuition - (Monthly payments due by the 20th of the month prior.)
$340 per month or one payment of $960
9 & Older - 6:40 to 8:40PM
Equipment set-up and take-down duties are required to participate.
MBPC reserves the right to release or suspend students for unproductive behaivor.
3 PHASES OF DEVELOPMENT
Orientation Phase
Students learn the equipment, drills, techniques and routines of the program.
Ramp-Up Phase
Students increase the intensity, resistance and repetitions of the drills while refining their techniques.
Growth Phase
Students have mastered the drills and exercises and are working to further "hack" the kinetic chain.
Steve Thobe - Drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 18th round of the 1994 MLB June Amateur Draft from California State University, Sacramento. 5 years minor league experience (A,AA,AAA). Played for the Honolulu Sharks in the Hawaii Winter Baseball League. Previously served as a Seabury Hall Assistant Baseball Coach.
Chad Blackwell - Drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the 6th round of the 2004 MLB June Amateur Draft from University of South Carolina (Columbia, SC).
Logan Kanamu - Lettered in Baseball 3 years between Kamehameha Maui & H.P. Baldwin HS. Graduate of Bethany College (Kansas). Earned All-Conference Catcher honors. Bachelor's degree in Sociology & Criminal Justice. Played professionally for Maui Na Koa Ikaika and the Hawaii Stars. Former pitching coach for KS Maui & volunteer coach for Wailuku Yankees.
Justin Cayaban - Lettered in Baseball 4 years at King Kekaulike HS. Graduate of University of Hawaii - Manoa. Certified Educator HTSB. Previously served as KKHS Assistant Baseball Coach. Licensed elementary education teacher for the Hawaii Department of Education.
Chazz Ishikawa - Lettered in Baseball at Maui High School. Attended and lettered for Pierce College. Graduated and lettered 2 years in baseball at Montana State - Billings.
Edison Sakata - Lettered in Baseball at Roosevelt High School on Oahu. Played for the UH Hilo Vulcans.
Naz Thibodeaux - Lettered in Baseball 4 years at Kamehameha Maui. Graduated and lettered 3 years in baseball at Cabrillo College and Oregon Institute of Technology. Holds record for most stolen bases in a career at KS Maui. Previously an assistant coach for Maui High softball.
Barry Takahashi - Member of 1991 Hawaii Area Code Team. Played & coached collegiately, and earned BFA & M.Ed. (Kinesiology) from Texas Christian University. Certified Functional Fitness, Advanced Pitching Coach by Dr. Tom House. Played & coached professionally for Abilene Prairie Dogs. Envoy to the German Federation for MLB-International; injury rehab coach Kansas City Royals; associate scout for the Houston Astros. 2004 MIL Baseball Coach of the year for Kamehameha Schools-Maui. Founder & president of the non-profit Maui Collegiate Baseball Club. Licensed secondary education teacher & counselor for the Hawaii Department of Education. Member of the 2008 State AJA Championship team.
