Summary: Put in place flash cards on Entrepreneurship so that ATL students can use them as a ready-reckoner to learn the ropes of Entrepreneurship easily and at their own pace.
Most tinkering and innovation projects at the ATL end with the construction and showcase of a prototype. Students are not always aware of the possibilities beyond prototyping. For e.g., most students don't know how to take advantage of online platforms to build, market and sell their digital or physical creations to paying customers and earn active or passive income even when studying in school. As such, there is a need to conduct skilling programs for ATL students on the possibilities of entrepreneurship and the opportunities it can open up for them.
However, merely conducting skilling sessions on entrepreneurship is not enough. In fact, most traditional skilling programs fail to achieve their objectives as they involve intense learning over a short-duration of time. Most students find it challenging to absorb a lot of new information in a short span of time. Moreover, they cannot retain knowledge of a subject for which they haven't felt a need yet. The net result is, most students forget what they learnt a few days or weeks after the training program is over. For skilling to be effective, it has to be a slow and steady process. Skilling on entrepreneurship has to happen over a period of time with learning content readily available for students to make use of - as and when they need them.
Flash cards are simple, but very effective learning aids that can be provided for ATL students to acquire knowledge & skills in entrepreneurship at their own pace.
Create interactive Flash Cards with QR Codes that provide tidbits of information, learning resources, tips & suggestions, and examples on entrepreneurship related topics. ATL students can refer to these flash cards as and when they need them. Students can scan the QR codes on a Flash Card to view online tutorials, videos, samples, or download templates. Flash Cards makes it possible for students to have all the information they need at their finger tips - as and when they need them. The skilling then becomes lot more effective than traditional training programs.
For e.g., we can create interactive Flash Cards on the following topics related to Entrepreneurship for the benefit of ATL students:
Building Physical & Digital Products
Developing a Business Model

Managing Business Accounts
Starting an Online Business
